Seventh Sense Weddings & Events exists to help you to form a bridge between the two of you, your heritage, your unique beliefs, and your family and traditions. Working with an experienced ordained officiant who offers personalized premarital sessions and has worked with hundreds of couples from a wide multitude of belief systems is the best way to honor you and your journey - so that even if you and your guests don’t remember the words spoken at your ceremony, you will never, ever forget the presence of meaning and love of that moment.
Why "Seventh Sense"? Most people have some idea of a sixth sense-- something beyond the five, that many think of as an extra 'knowing', or maybe refer to as ESP. We believe there's something still beyond that which we call it the “Seventh Sense”. We love that it's a bit ambiguous, for some, it's a higher power of sorts, for some it's a very clear "God", and for some, it's what they know of simply, and profoundly, as Love.
Meet Dawn:
Rev. Dawn is an Atlanta, GA and Los Angeles, CA based trilingual (Spanish, French, English) interfaith minister who has officiated 900+ ceremonies on both coasts, and spoken at conferences, panels, churches, and events throughout the United States.
After a long history in social justice and community organizing, including founding the violence-prevention hip-hop youth center, J.U.i.C.E. in 2001, Dawn was ordained by The New Seminary for Interfaith Studies in New York, and officiates weddings and other ceremonies specializing in rituals from various ethnic and faith traditions to create truly exceptional and memorable occasions. She also offers certified personalized premarital counseling, and believes strongly in how powerful sessions are in ensuring a strong foundation for a marriage.
