Reverend Ryan NeuCollins is an interfaith minister who, when she’s not officiating weddings, provides free classes to the community on Eastern Religion, Indigenous Spirituality, and the possibility of Life after Death through the study of reincarnation cases and Near Death Experiences via her business Birds-of- a-feather.net. Deeply committed to the spiritual path, Ryan is also a kriya yogi who engages in daily meditation and prayer, as well as the art of seeing and nurturing the sacred in other people.
Ryan spends her spare time communing with nature, as well as creating art that celebrates the sacred. She has hiked the Appalachian Trail and the Long Trail, sailed and canoed her way across the U.S, and spends as much time as she can on Monhegan Island, ME, where she is surrounded by pine forests, rugged cliffs, and an artist colony that includes three generations of her own family.
Bringing a true commitment to her role as a wedding officiate, Ryan helps couples visualize and express themselves in language that is both poetic and professional, while still remaining true to their own belief systems–whether these are orthodox, liberal, or secular. The personal growth that each couple embarks upon and the life lessons that each will help the other through is what fuels her calling.
